Adam Karbani

Adam was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2003. He obtained his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2008. As a law student, Adam served as an Editor with the Manitoba Law Journal and a research volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada. He also received the Mr. Justice & Mrs. I. Nitikman Prize in Torts during his first year at the University of Manitoba. In 2008, he articled with Tarrabain & Company. He was called to the Alberta Bar in September 2009.

Adam has appeared in the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench on a variety of civil and criminal matters.

Adam’s practice focuses on criminal and quasi-criminal law cases, with a particular interest in constitutional litigation. Adam is strongly committed to protecting the constitutional rights of individuals involved with the criminal justice system.

Adam’s interests include hockey, golf, and traveling.
